ByteDance Seedance 2.5 turns a prompt into a video of 4 to 30 seconds (or -1 to let the model choose the length), at 480p, 720p or 1080p, with synchronized sound.
Use it for multi-beat scenes, product shots and short ads written as text. Inputs: prompt, resolution, ratio (adaptive, 21:9, 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 3:4, 9:16), duration, generate_audio, seed.
It takes no image: to animate a picture use Seedance 2.5 Image-to-Video, to keep a character use Reference-to-Video. There is no 4K.
Price: the video tokens the model renders at $11.235 per 1M ($6.72 with a video input) up to 720p and $12.285 ($7.35) at 1080p, about $0.11 a second at 480p, $0.24 at 720p and $0.60 at 1080p; a 5 s 720p clip is about $1.22.
