DeepSeek V4.1 Flash (build 1017, 2026-10-17) is DeepSeek's fast reasoning model for coding, agents and everyday knowledge work. Send a prompt, or a chat history in messages, and get a text answer; images go in messages as image_url parts. Through the OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions endpoint it also calls your function tools and takes their results back.

Set reasoning_effort to none for instant replies, or low, medium (the default) or high for harder problems; system_prompt, temperature, top_p and max_tokens work as usual. Set service_tier to priority for its fastest serving at a higher price. Set private_mode to true to keep the prompt and the answer out of FlyMyAI storage and logs (synchronous calls only).

Price per 1M tokens: $0.30 input, $0.006 cached input, $1.20 output; the priority tier costs $0.375, $0.0075 and $1.50. Reasoning counts as output. It answers in text only: use the image, video and audio models to create media.
